States in Region VI are
Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

The purposes of the Association are:

►	To become the Nation’s leader in helping people to reach their highest potential through participation in the economic and social mainstream of society.
►	To promote coordination and cooperation among the individual Community Action Agencies within Region VI.
►	To support and coordinate activities between Region VI and national organizations, and to present a unified voice for Region VI at the national level.
►	To provide training and technical assistance to the Community Action Agencies within Region VI.
►	To sponsor and administer region-wide programs to serve the clients of the Community Action Agencies within Region VI.
